Autoimmune neutropenia is a rare disorder caused by peripheral destruction of antibody-sensitised neutrophils by cells of the reticuloendothelial system. Intravenous immunoglobulin (IVIg) may be considered among treatment options in rare circumstances when the standard treatment of G-CSF fails.
